 Brassieres gave more comfort on the part of women as they were only to hook-up two to three hasps when wearing them. Corsets took too much time and effort to produce a body-hugging figure.

The first bras for girls however which were introduced in 1913 was blown by the idea of putting two handkerchiefs together by the use of a string. These were comfortably used by women in work as it provides a softer finish.
·Chemises and Bloomers. In the 1920’s, there was a desire to twist from an exaggerated figure to a lighter, flatter version. Chemises and bloomers were then worn to produce a lighter and flatter figure.

However, in the 1930’s, they felt a need to go back to tradition.
During the 1970’s when women wanted to expose more of their assets and wear mini-skirts, the concept of the bikini-strap underwear came to existence. Later on, thongs were introduced in the market. To-date, sexy lingerie is being used for various purposes. On top of that is to enhance body figure and without denial, to attract the opposite sex as well. This is one of the reasons why throughout its existence, sexy lingerie is also termed as exotic.Finding underwear for girls is a relative ease , though the finding of good quality underwear is difficult .Ill fitting panties can be the most annoying , especially after a days work  , so comfort is a must , as is good elastic properties.

 Bustier (sometimes  bustiere) is for women, which is worn as lingerie and as often found is also usable as a under jacket( sometimes ,not always , usually only the more elaborate). It looks somewhat like a Basque, but a bustier is shorter. It reaches down only to the ribs or the waist and has a alternate function: its primary purpose is to push up the bust by tightening  around the ribs and is often heavilly wired , although there are visual non functional version , just for  entertainment purposes. There are also some that are just for wearing as an under jacket , these are also seldomley wired and  are for visual clothing purposes as a reflection of underwear but does not have the support normally associated with underwear.

Finding a good shop that sells  bras for girls can also be a real tricky deal , sizing is especially important , most er on the side of too small soimply for the security of being strapped in. But it is wise to be aware that , the strapping can be tight , but the cup size must be accurate if not a little larger. Also a point to note is the strap length , usually a visual check can note where the buckle is , which can be in the most awkward areas for some , and in the most appropriate area for others.For the best in womens underwares and under wires!
